韩国媒体3月1日报道，由于近期韩国大米价格持续上涨，农林畜产食品部决定紧急投放15万吨政府储备米以缓解供应紧张、平抑米价。今年年初以来，韩国米价不断走高。政府部门统计数据显示，2月底，韩国一袋20公斤装大米平均零售价为6.3万韩元（约合301元人民币），较常年同期高出逾15%。这次储备米投放将以“出借”形式进行。相关经销商需在本月5日前提交申请，获准销售储备米后，在今年收获新米时将等量大米返还给政府。
